The MJC is now accepting applications for 2024 Summer Law Student Fellows and Undergraduate Interns for Summer and/or Fall.
SUMMER LAW STUDENT FELLOWS
The Milwaukee Justice Center has up to 3 full-time (35-40 hrs/week) openings for summer 2024. Fellows will work with one of three Milwaukee Justice Center service groups based on their experience and interest: 1) Expungement/Pardon Clinic; 2) Eviction Diversion Court Program; or 3) Civil/Family Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinics and Mobile Legal Clinic. All fellows will gain experience with the MJC’s largest program, the Family Forms Clinic. |
UNDERGRADUATE INTERNS
The Milwaukee Justice Center is accepting applications for the Summer and Fall Family Forms Clinic Internship Interns will interview self-represented individuals and assist them with completing legal forms and explaining filing procedures in the courthouse. Some interns may also assist with intake and administrative operations where they will answer questions about available services, offer direction to referral resources, and assist clinic staff with the virtual and in person sign-in processes. |
