Guardianship for an Adult Age 18 and Older

Guardianship over an adult can be a complicated and difficult process.  Your goal may also be accomplished with other, less challenging options.

Please seek legal advice through the Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinics for information and assistance.

To begin the adult guardianship process in Milwaukee County, you should start at Room 207 (Probate Office) in the Milwaukee County Courthouse (901 N. 9th St.).  They will provide information on the forms and the process.
