By AdminFrom Tuesday, June 1st to Wednesday, June 16th, the Milwaukee Justice Center hosted its 10th Annual Run for Justice. The annual run in pursuit of justice for all took on a unique spin this year as it was held remotely and participants joined in from various states around the country. The Milwaukee Justice Center took on an intriguing focus this year to inspire their runners, encouraging participants to take as many steps they thought would be meaningful to the goal of achieving justice for all rather than setting a specific length for everyone to run. This initiative took on several different forms, including considering the actual number of steps it takes to file specific legal actions at the Milwaukee Courthouse. The 10th Annual Run for Justice ended as a huge success this year. Through the support and excitement of all of the participants, it was clear how much the call for justice for all means to the Milwaukee Community. The run was made possible by several sponsors, including Foley & Lardner, Michael Best & Friedrich and Quarles & Brady. Thanks to all of the participants and sponsors, the 10th Annual Run for Justice raised an exciting total of $12,318. Executive Director, Mary Ferwerda would like to give her sincerest thanks to all those who contributed and gave their time to make this year such a huge success.
